Review: Boots tea tree and witch hazel face products

Today I'm going to talk about these two products from the Boots tea tree and witch hazel range, the range is completely affordable and a little definitely goes a long way. I am a big fan of both of these products as they both contain active charcoal which is meant to be amazing for the skin. Let's start with the Deep Cleansing Facial Scrub as this is the one I bought first, when I first put it on my face I was surprised at how large the exfoliating particles were and this can be a little rough on your skin so you need to use quite a light hand. I didn't notice a magic effect after the first use but my skin did feel smooth and soft, after a couple of weeks of using this twice weekly I have noticed that my skin has cleared up somewhat and the amount of breakouts I get seems to be reducing which is only ever a good thing!

Moving on to the Intense Deep Cleanse Face Mask, I bought this after hearing about the Origins charcoal face mask and decided I would rather not spend all that money on something high end if I can find something on the lower end of the scale that works for me! I wasn't sure about buying it as the tube is so tiny and you don't get a large amount but it's so inexpensive I knew I had to give it a try, and I'm glad I did. I use it once or twice a week, you leave it on for fifteen minutes at a time and when I wash it off my skin feels so soft and matte (a real achievement for me as I have an horrendously oily T-zone) and it reduces my blemishes. It can be a little drying so I just follow it with a light moisturiser and I'm good to go.

I would recommend both of these products if you're looking for something inexpensive that's good quality, what more could you want from skincare?
