Today I'm going to be talking about these three lipsticks I purchased from the brand Seventeen. My first buy was 'Belle' which is a really nice mauvey colour, sort of like the 'Kylie Jenner' colour everyone seems to be obsessed with! I wasn't sure what to expect when I purchased it, I tend not to be a lipstick sort of girl but I was pleasantly surprised (so much so that I went back and got two more!). They all have a sheen to them, and they are slightly moisturising, but they do tend to show any dry patches on your lips so you do have to make sure you're moisturising them regularly to keep them from getting chapped. 'Belle' is the darkest of the three, and I wear this one when I want my lips to be the focus, with it being shiny the lips to tend to look bigger anyway, and I am rather lip abundant so I do like to highlight them whenever possible!
My next purchase was 'Camisole' and I wasn't sure I would like this one because I've never been into nude lips on myself, but again it surpassed my expectations. It is fairly sheer and understated on the lips but it does help give your face that finished look which is always good! I tend to start off by lining my lips with 'East End Snob' by Rimmel and then go in with this to give my lips a lovely natural look with a gentle focus. Most recently I decided to buy 'Pouty' because I was so impressed with the quality of these products I thought I really should get another one, so I did. Ever since I was a child I noticed my mother would go for lipsticks with brown undertones but I never tried one myself until I bought this, again it is quite sheer but has a more fawny look than camisole.
Another great thing about these is the packaging, when you pull the lipstick out a mirror comes down from the lid so you can apply it wherever you are and not have to worry about finding a mirror, definitely a bonus in my book! I think that these are totally worth purchasing, I got mine from Boots and they were £4.79 each, so compared to more expensive high end products they're worth a try. Well done on these Seventeen, I have to say I am impressed!
