For me, one of the best bits about summer is how everything seems to smell so fresh, and I think that the fragrances I reach for in summer reflect that. In winter I love nothing more than lighting my Cranberry Ice Yankee candle, but it doesn't feel quite right when you're not snuggling down with a blanket and recently I purchased this Vanilla Sugar candle from Matalan. First of all what's not to love about the title?! Vanilla great, sugar fab, if you love these smells as much as I do you'll want to get this candle! It was only three pounds which is so affordable, and it seems to be lasting well. I would say that the smell once it's lit isn't as strong as the Yankee candles, but I suppose that's to be expected with the price, but that really works for summer as it's a more subtle fragrance and it creates a great atmosphere.
Next is my deodorant, it seems a bit weird to be talking about this but I like it so much I thought I had to tell you. It's by Dove go fresh and it's the cucumber and green tea scented one, I got the compressed can version which I think is a great idea because you get just as much and you help to reduce wastage, brilliant! This smells fabulous, the cucumber makes it so fresh and the green tea gives it a little twist, plus it does all the usual keeping sweat at bay etc... definitely worth a purchase.
Finally is my perfume, I was roaming though Boots a while ago when I came across this fragrance from Soap and Glory, it's the Mist You Madly spray, which I got in the largest size, and I am a big fan of it. You don't need a lot of it, I find that about two sprays leaves you smelling gorgeous and it has lasted for such a long time, I'd recommend this to anyone who tends to be unsure about what scent they like as this has hints of lots of different smells which is what drew me to it.
