An Everyday Autumn Lip Look

Autumn is all about warm tones, whether that's presented in clothing or decorations or make up it's an integral part of the season in my opinion as it makes everything feel cosier and more festive. However, when it comes to make up sometimes it's hard to incorporate colour, especially if you don't often wear any or wear very little, so I think the best way to add colour is on your lips!

I picked up this lip liner from Max Factor quite a few months ago as I loved the earthy mauve colour, it's really similar to the colour Kylie Jenner's associated with, it's called Max Factor Colour Elixir Lip Liner and I have the shade 'Mauve Moment'. The texture of this product is quite smooth but if you want to use this all over your lips as lipstick you'll need some Vaseline or some type of clear balm because it is quite drying. I'm not one for over lining my lips (they're pretty large naturally) but it is easy to do with this product, I just use it to outline the lips, sometimes going a millimetre or two over the line and then fill them in with the lipstick.

The lipstick is from Seventeen and it's the Mirror Shine version in the shade 'Belle' which I have already done a review on but I will just briefly say that it's shiny (hence the title) although it doesn't feel sticky and it doesn't dry out your lips, it doesn't have the intense colour pay-out that a matte might but it gives a nice mauve sheen. I also wanted to throw in this sharpener which I got from Bourjois because some sharpeners don't seem to be able to sharpen this lip pencil but this one does it really well and it's quite inexpensive so if you're looking for one, try this out!
