I was walking around Boots today with no intention of purchasing anything (honestly) when I saw the 3 for 2 offer at the L'Oreal stand, what's a girl to do?! I've been interested in this foundation for a while after seeing a YouTube video of someone using it so I thought I'd pick it up, it's the Infallible 24 Hour Matte foundation in the shade 'Vanilla' and I have high hopes of this actually staying matte! Obviously I don't want it to look too matte and drying but just matte enough to keep the oils from coming through too much!
I also got the Infallible Mattifying Base which is the primer that goes with the foundation as I thought I might as well try them both out together, and as I'm coming to the end of my current primer I've been looking for another one to replace it so we'll see how this one works out. Now, if you're like me you'll agree that it would have been wrong, nay catastrophic not to take advantage of the 3 for 2 offer so naturally, I got myself a bronzer! I would have linked the bronzer but I can't seem to find it on the Boots website, but it's the Glam Bronze single bronzer in I think 06. I bought it because of the offer but when I got home and opened it up I realised that the compact also contains a large mirror and a little brush that's a good shape for contouring. The shade also seems lovely and sun kissed so I'm pretty happy with this, although I haven't tried it properly yet.
I'd also like to point out that I never used to buy from L'Oreal because I'd heard they tested on animals but on their official website it clearly says that it no longer does, if anyone has any information about this I'd appreciate knowing the facts. I have never and will never agree with animal testing, it's unnecessary and inhumane, and if we as a race can put human beings on the moon and fly thousand of miles in a matter of hours I'm sure we can end this ridiculous practice!
