I've been into Soap and Glory body products for a couple of years now but I had never tried their cosmetics until recently and I was so impressed by them that I knew I had to write this post to let everyone know about this fabulous collection! I was looking around the Boots website when I saw that Soap and Glory was buy one get one half price across their cosmetics so I decided that the next time I was in a Boots shop I'd check out what they had to offer. The first thing that I picked up was the Soap and Glory Archery Brow Pencil in 'Hot Chocolate' and I can't get enough of it! My hair is quite a light brown and this colour works perfectly for me but I also think it would work well if you have dark hair, I know you're probably wondering what could be so great about a brow product but this is exceptional! The pencil end gives such natural, light strokes of colour and the built in brush softens out the edges leaving the brows looking completely natural and not like they've been drawn on which I hope everyone else appreciates as much as I do! This is the first brow product I've tried that gives me the exact result that I want and I absolutely know I'll be buying this again and again.
The other product I picked up was the One Heck of A Blot translucent mattifying powder as I do get quite an oily T-zone and I'm always looking for something to combat this, and I've found it! It comes with a compact and a mirror making it perfect for carrying in your bag if you're going to work or will be out of the house for a while as you can sort out any shiny areas with virtually no effort, wherever you are. It is completely transparent so it's not something you can use to add more coverage to your base but that makes it even more appealing to me as you can re-apply it when you need it without having to worry about it becoming heaving or caked up. This powder keeps me shine free for a good few hours after applying it, which is almost unheard of on my skin, and it doesn't feel like you have anything on your face so this is another one that I'll be adding to my 'must repurchase' list!
The brow pencil cost £8 and the powder was £12 so with the buy one get one half price offer it came to £16 which was a bonus but I will buy both of these products again at full price once the offer expires because I haven't been this impressed with new purchases for a while and I'll be going back to see what else they have to offer soon!
